1/2 lb Whole Bean-Peaberry-Medium Roast

Only 3-5% of our harvest is peaberry. Usually the fruit (cherry) of the coffee tree contains two seeds (beans) that develop with flattened-facing sides. But sometimes only one of the two seeds is fertilized, and the single seed develops with nothing to flatten it. The rare oval bean with the highest density roasts differently than the flat-sided regular beans.

Tasting Notes: Brightness in the mouth, smooth and silky, very feminine. The champagne of coffees.
Medium Roast a perfect choice to really taste the love in the bean.
